The Marquette Senior Center’s Silver Sampler Summer Series will offer a new set of outdoor
recreation experiences for seniors 55 and over who live within the service area of the Marquette
Senior Center. The goal of the Silver Sampler is to introduce you to new hiking trails and water
pathways and hopefully revisit some of the special places we discovered in the past, along with
challenging ourselves to achieve positive health goals.
May’s Silver Sampler hiking schedule is as follows:
May 10 Dead River Falls
May 17 Emerick Homestead
May 24 Laughing Whitefish Falls
May 31 Hill Street/Jasper Knob
All hikes will begin at 1 p.m. Pre-registration is required and can be made by calling the Marquette
Senior Center office at 228-0456.



The City of Marquette has seasonal positions available for Park Patrol Officers at the City parks and beaches. Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays from approximately June 1st through September 2021. Degree or coursework in criminal justice/law enforcement preferred.
