Lakeshore Boulevard to close to through traffic

Beginning on Wednesday, Nov. 8, Lakeshore Boulevard will be closed to through traffic between Baraga Avenue and the US 41 / Genesee Street intersection. Closure to through traffic is required to place water and sanitary sewer utilities to the new development off Lakeshore and Baraga Avenue. It is anticipated that work will be completed by Saturday, Nov. 11. Access to the Hampton Inn and residences along Lakeshore Boulevard will be by means of the US 41 and Genesee Street intersection.
The public is advised to use caution when traveling through this area and to be alert for construction and advisory signing.
