Beginning at 6 a.m. on Friday, June 1, South Front Street/U.S. 41, from Furnace Street to the roundabout, will be tapered down to one lane heading north, to accommodate for the Marquette Beautification Committee’s annual planting of petunias. The lane is expected to be open to through
traffic at 3 p.m.
On Saturday, June 2, starting at 6 a.m. the southbound lane of South Front Street/U.S. 41, from Jackson Street to Furnace Street, will be tapered down to one lane heading south for the planting of petunias. All lanes are expected to be open to through traffic at 1 p.m. the same day.
Motorists are encouraged to slow down and use caution while traveling this area.
