Presque Isle Avenue traffic shift starts June 20

Beginning at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, June 20, Presque Isle Avenue between Wright Street and Center Street will only accommodate southbound traffic. North bound traffic will be detoured to Fitch Avenue. This change in the traffic patterns is required due to the work required to stub water and sewer laterals to the properties on the west side of the street. Work is also required to provide a safe work area for the construction personnel and provide safe access for the traveling public. This work will last until June 29.

This Presque Isle Avenue work will detour traffic to down Center, Fitch and Wright. The public is advised to use caution when traveling through this area and to be alert for construction, detour and advisory signing.

Hebert Construction is the general contractor for this project.
