MSHS- Beginning at 5:30 P.M. and continuing through approximately 6:30 P.M. on Friday, September 21, the Marquette Senior High School will be holding their annual homecoming parade. The parade will begin at the Graveraet School, exit west east on Hewitt Avenue to Third Street, proceed north on Third Street to Magnetic Street, then west on Magnetic Street to Lincoln Avenue, then north on Lincoln Avenue to College Avenue, and then west to MSHS High School parking lot.

Beginning at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 19, Lakeshore Boulevard from Baraga Avenue to Front Street (U.S. 41) will be closed to through traffic.
This closure is required for the East Baraga Extension project for water main related work. It is anticipated that this work will be completed later that same day and the road will again be open to through traffic.
The public is advised to use caution when traveling through this area and to be alert for construction, detour and advisory signing. Hebert Construction is the general contractor for this project.
