The City of Marquette recently underwent a study that was conducted by both Johnson Controls and DLZ, in an effort for long-term energy savings, in addition to efficiency in vehicular traffic.
As a result, the City will be implementing the following changes, beginning this month:
- Left-turn arrow signals at Lincoln and West Washington, both east and west
- Left-turn arrow signals at West Washington and McClellan in all directions
- Directional traffic signals at North McClellan and West Ridge
- Removal of directional traffic signals at North Front and Hewitt, to be replaced with a four-way stop.
