The City of Marquette Arts and Culture Advisory Committee meeting scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 7 has been cancelled due to a lack of new business items. The next meeting is scheduled for March 7.
All meetings take place in the City of Marquette Arts and Culture Center located in the lower level of the Peter White Public Library.

The Maintenance Manager establishes, coordinates, and supervises general maintenance and repair of downtown sidewalks, parking lots, green spaces, walkways, and facilities managed by the DDA. Construction at Founders Landing has started for the new pier project. Effective immediately, the boardwalk at Founders Landing and the City multi-use path between Spring Street and the trail intersection near the Lakeshore Boulevard and US 41 intersection will be closed to through traffic. The closure is required to accommodate construction work on the City South Pier project and for building construction at the Two Marquette Place development.![]()

Multi-use path traffic will be detoured around this area by means of the sidewalk along Front Street/US 41. The closure and detour are expected to remain in effect until the end of the 2021 construction season.![]()
