Beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, May 13 Arch Street, between Lakeshore Boulevard and Coast Guard Road, will be closed to through traffic for Phase 1 reconstruction work. This is the first phase of three phases. This phase is expected to last five weeks.
The Arch Street work will detour traffic going to the Maritime Museum by means of Michigan Street to Coast Guard Road. The public is advised to use caution when traveling through this area and to be alert for construction, detour and advisory signing.
A phasing schematic can be accessed at the City of Marquette Engineering Division web site under the Light House Park Project link at
Oberstar, Inc. is the general contractor for this project.
The City of Marquette asks you for your patience during the construction process.
