Lake Superior Urban Stormwater / Coastal Wetland Restoration Work Planned

Hawley Street between Presque Isle Avenue and Lakeshore Boulevard will be closed to through traffic beginning October 28, at 8:00 a.m. Lakeshore Boulevard (except from Fair Avenue to Pine Street), Wright Street and Pine Street will be re-opened.

In the event of future Lakeshore Boulevard closures Hawley Street will be open to one lane traffic. Be advised that weather may cause the closure of Lakeshore Boulevard before a public service announcement can be made. Motorists and pedestrians are encouraged to allow for extra time to reach their destination and use caution when traveling through this area.
