Sergeant Brian Anderson of the Marquette Fire Department has been promoted to the new position of full-time Rental Inspector effective Oct. 28. Brian was hired as a firefighter by the City in 1998 and progressed through the ranks, attaining the rank of Sergeant in 2016. Prior to the creation of this full-time position, Brian had served as Lead Rental Inspector from 2016 until the spring of 2019. Brian will work out of Fire Hall 1 and will be on a 40-hour a week shift schedule.
