City Offices Closing at Noon On Nov. 1

All phones and computer access at the City of Marquette remain down today. Due to this difficulty, all City of Marquette offices are closing at noon.

Marquette Fire, Police and Public Works will remain operational at this time.

Lakeview Arena will be operational during today’s open skate hours.

The City Clerk’s Office will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2, for those looking to receive or return absentee ballots for the Tuesday, Nov. 5 General Election.

Due to recent snow accumulations, the fall leaf pickup has been suspended, and no further leaf pickup will take place this year. The compost site located at 1415 Pioneer Rd. will be open for disposal for the last day of the season on Tuesday, Nov. 12 from 3 p.m. to dark. Crews will return in the spring to
conduct brush and leaf collection.
