REMINDER: Commission, BLP nominating petitions due Tuesday, April 21

Nominating petitions for those hoping to file as candidates for City Commission or Board of Light and Power must be returned to the City Clerk by 4 p.m. on Tuesday.

Packets may be returned using the bill pay drop box at the southeast corner of City Hall, located at 300 W. Baraga Ave.

Residents looking to pick up a packet in advance of the deadline must call 225-8667 to determine how to best get the application materials in a timely manner.

At the time they are returned, these nominating petitions must be completed, notarized and paired with either the signatures of at least 25 registered City electors or with a non-refundable $100 payment.
