City Commission special meeting planned to follow infrastructure tour

The Marquette City Commission will be participating in a tour of the streets and infrastructure in need of repairs on Wednesday, July 8, at 5:30 p.m. No official business of the City will be conducted during the tour.

The tour will be followed by a special Commission meeting, originally scheduled as a work session, in City Hall, Commission Chambers, at 6:30 p.m.

Due to Executive Orders issued from the Office of the Governor, the tour and special meeting will be held without the public in physical attendance. The public is invited to view and participate in the meeting electronically.

There will be two options for public participation in this special meeting: phone conferencing or written comment. There will be two public comment periods during the meeting, one at the beginning and one at the end. Comments will be limited to three minutes and speakers must give their name and address. Written comments will be limited to 500 words. Written comments can be submitted directly to, written submissions will be accepted until 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8.
