As we continue to deal with COVID-19 in our communities, Blue Cross and BCN are extending the timeframe for covering the member portion of costs for COVID-19 treatment for fully insured members through March 31, 2021.
Member costs for physician-approved COVID-19 tests and associated services are waived until the end of the public health emergency. This is part of a federal mandate that will continue as long as the mandate is in place.
