Parks and Recreation Advisory Board Meeting

The January 11, 2021 Parks & Recreation Advisory Board meeting time has been changed to 12:00 p.m. The meeting will be held virtually with Committee members and Staff attending remotely through Zoom video conferencing.

This meeting will be streamed on the City of Marquette YouTube channel starting at 12:00 p.m. (https://www.youtube.com/user/CityofMarquetteGov). Please note that the YouTube livestream will have at least a 20 second delay.

Public Participation


There will be three options for public participation in this meeting: video conferencing, phone conferencing, or written comment. There will be one public comment period at the beginning part of the meeting.  Comments will be limited to three minutes and speakers must give their name and address.

Members of the public wishing to call in and make a comment over the phone will need to call 312-626-6799 and enter the meeting ID (859 2151 2279).

The video and phone conference lobby will open at 11:50 a.m. on January 11, 2021. When participating via video or phone conferencing, you will be placed into a virtual lobby/on-hold until the Public Comment portion of the meeting is reached. Once Public Comment begins, the meeting organizer will go through each person waiting in the lobby one at a time and provide them with the opportunity to address the Committee. It is recommended that participants follow the meeting on YouTube to know when the Public Comment portion is occurring and be ready to make their comment.


Written comments can be submitted by emailing amaciver@marquettemi.gov. Written submissions will be accepted until 9 a.m. on Monday, January 11, 2021.

January 11 City Commission Meeting Participation

Due to directives from the State of Michigan, the January 11 City Commission meeting will be held virtually without the public in physical attendance. The public is invited to view and participate in the meeting electronically.

The meeting will be streamed on YouTube and Channel 191 starting at 6 p.m. The YouTube channel is located at www.youtube.com/user/CityofMarquetteGov. Please note that the livestreams may have at least a 20 second delay.

Public Participation
