The Department of Public Works welcomes back Ryan Anderson as a rehired Heavy Equipment Operator
effective March 31. Ryan previously worked in this capacity from 2017-2019, at which time he decided to
return to CCI for another position. Ryan has returned to the City as an HEO and will report to Art Carlson.

The City’s Motor Pool Department is comprised of seven full-time mechanics. They are responsible for providing high-quality, cost-effective, and sustainable fleet management and maintenance services to all city departments. This includes managing a fleet of city vehicles such as pickup trucks, heavy equipment, police vehicles, and fire trucks. The department is responsible for asset management, maintenance and repairs, fueling services, vehicle acquisitions and dispositions, equipment specifications, and alternative fuel programs. They also provide fire truck and emergency vehicle maintenance services to several nearby townships that do not have full-time mechanics on staff.
