Marquette City Manager community office hours on Wednesday, May 12, has been canceled. The next community office hours will be held on Wednesday, June 9, from 10 a.m. to noon in the Dandelion Cottage room, located on the first floor off the Huron Mountain Gallery of the Peter White Public Library.

The Boat Parade will organize at 9 p.m. at the elbow of the Lower Harbor breakwater. At 9:30, the parade will complete two laps through the harbor. Boaters can tune to Marine Channel 12 for bulletins at 6 p.m., 7 p.m., and 8 p.m. ![]()

The Fireworks are scheduled to launch at 10:40 p.m. from the Lower Harbor Ore Dock. ![]()

Tonight's fireworks show will be syncronized to music. Because Food Fest has wrapped up, there will not be speakers in the park. The music will be broadcased on 100.3 The Point. Bring a radio!
Have a safe and happy holiday weekend!The Marquette City Police will have extra patrol officers working this weekend specifically to enforce the City of Marquette beach rules during the 4th of July holiday weekend. Here is a reminder to everyone of the following city beach ordinances:![]()
(1) Section 4-2 Consumption of alcohol on beaches is prohibited (except by permit).![]()
(2) Section 22-24 People littering on beaches will be cited. Also, No Smoking is allowed on the beaches.![]()
(3) Section 8-12 Animals are prohibited on all public bathing beaches.![]()
Please remember to use only designated signed parking areas at Presque Isle Park; all others will be ticketed.![]()
Please enjoy the beaches and help us continue to keep Marquette beaches a fun, clean and safe place for all people to enjoy.
