Third Street Parade Planned for July 4

The Marquette Fourth of July Parade is being held Sunday, July 4, beginning at noon. The parade will begin at the Berry Event Center and proceed down Third Street, past the Marquette Commons, before disbanding at Baraga Avenue. The side streets will be closed to through traffic beginning Sunday at 10 a.m. Fair Avenue, Hewitt Street and Washington Street will remain open until the parade starts. Please plan accordingly.

Also, please be advised that temporary “No Parking” signs will be placed along the Third Street parade route. They will be enforced Sunday morning through the completion of the parade.
