The City of Marquette Finance Department welcomes Janell Irie as the new Utility Billing Clerk as of Aug. 16. Janell has worked for the City of Manistique in various positions including utility billing and most recently worked for Longyear as an accountant. Welcome, Janell!

MacDonald, Jim website

James MacDonald, Retirement

Water Supervisor Jim MacDonald has announced his retirement effective Oct. 15. Jim was hired by the City as Relief Operator at the Water Treatment Plant in 1982. He was promoted to his current position as Supervisor in 1996. The City would like to extend best wishes to Jim after 37 years of public service.

Pamela Greenleaf, Retirement

Pamela Greenleaf, Administrative Assistant for the Department of Municipal Utilities has announced her retirement effective Sept. 30 after 34 years of public service. Pam started with the City in 1984 in the Clerk’s Office and promoted to Clerk/Typing Receptionist, Engineering Secretary and Community Development all prior to her most recent/current position in Municipal Utilities. Congratulations, Pam!
