The Compost drop-off site located at 1415 Pioneer Rd., will be closed Saturday, August 31 and the Household Rubbish site will be closed Monday, September 2 in observance of Labor Day. The Compost site will reopen Tuesday, September 3, 3-7:00 p.m. and the Household Rubbish site will reopen Wednesday, September 4, 3-7:00 p.m. (or when capacity is met).
Presque Isle Park, Peter White Drive Closure
The seasonal portion of Peter White Drive in Presque Isle Park will be closed to vehicular traffic on Friday, August 30 from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for a Marquette Area Public Schools Cross Country meet.
The public is advised congestion at the park will significantly increase during this event with seventeen school districts participating. Please use care when visiting Presque Isle Park.
