Any household not having an able-bodied person or neighbor willing to assist in placing garbage curbside for pick up may register with the Department of Public Works for special accommodation.![]()

Make sure your garbage and recycling carts get picked up by following these steps! ![]()

✅ Place your cart at least three feet apart from each other and any other objects (e.g. trees, cars, mailboxes) to allow the automated arm on Waste Management trucks to lift carts![]()
✅ Place wheels and handle of the cart toward the house![]()
✅ Make sure your cart is curbside by 10:00pm on your collection night![]()
✅ All materials must fit inside the cart with the lid firmly closed ![]()
✅ During winter months, carts should be placed in a driveway opening or some other established opening in the snow bank at ground level. Carts on top of a snowbank will not be collected.![]()
