Marquette City Hall - Signs of Spring Exhibit

The City of Marquette Office of Arts & Culture presents Signs of Spring, a new community art exhibit in City Hall. Signs of Spring features artwork by new, emerging, and professional local artists inspired by the Blue Spotted Salamander and other subtle signs of spring. The community is invited to vote for your favorite. Awards for Popular Vote, City Manager’s Choice and First Place will be presented at a City Commission meeting in May. The exhibit will be on display from April 1 through June 10 and is open to the public during normal business hours, Monday-Friday from 7:30am-4:30pm. City Hall is located at 300 West Baraga Avenue.

Signs of Spring is part of Salamander Days, an awareness campaign presented by the City of Marquette, Superior Watershed Partnership, and other local organizations and individuals in the Marquette community supporting the migration of the Blue Spotted Salamander on Presque Isle Park. In addition to the exhibit, a variety of themed arts and science programming will be presented by partners throughout the month of April.
