The City of Marquette Fire Department will be participating in the annual “Fill the Boot” fundraising drive for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Members of the Fire Department will be raising funds Thursday, September 19 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday, September 20 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the intersections of McClellan and Cleveland, Third and Hewitt, and Front and Arch.
These street intersections will be open to traffic and motorists are asked to exercise caution.

Early Voting starts today at the Peter White Public Library. Early Voting will be held today, tomorrow, and Saturday (10/30, 10/31, 11/1) from 8am to 4pm.
Congratulations to the 3rd graduating cohort of the Marquette Citizens Academy! Participants attended a total of 10 sessions including 4 tours of city facilities over the course of 10 weeks. Staff across the city led sessions covering each department and their operations.
