Sidewalk Repair and Extension Project

Beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, April 25, 2022, work will begin on a City-wide sidewalk repair and extension project.

This project will include replacement of various sidewalk squares throughout the City along with an extension of sidewalk on the south side of Wright Street between the Lakeshore Boulevard Roundabout and Presque Isle Avenue.  The project is expected to last two weeks.

A lane shift will be utilized for the Wright Street sidewalk extension portion of this project.  The traveling public should experience minimal disruptions at all other locations.  Sidewalk removal areas will be clearly marked with construction cones to warn pedestrians.

Construction plans can accessed at the City of Marquette Engineering Division web site: https://www.marquettemi.gov/departments/community-development/engineering/

Arrow Construction is the general contractor for this project.

The City of Marquette asks for your patience during the construction process and to use caution and pay attention to construction signage while traveling through construction areas.
