Aug. 11 Ad-Hoc Housing Committee Meeting: Participation Details

Due to Executive Orders issued from the Office of the Governor, the Aug. 11 Ad-Hoc Housing Committee meeting will be held virtually with Board Members and Staff attending remotely through Zoom video conferencing.

The meeting will be streamed on the City of Marquette YouTube channel starting at 11 a.m. The YouTube channel is located at www.youtube.com/user/CityofMarquetteGov. Please note that the livestream will have at least a 20 second delay.

Public Participation
There will be three options for public participation in these meetings: video conferencing, phone conferencing or written comment. There will be two public comment periods for each meeting, one at the beginning and one at the end. Comments will be limited to three minutes and speakers must give their name and address. Written comments will be limited to 500 words.

Marquette City Manager community office hours on Wednesday, Aug. 12, has been canceled. The next community office hours will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 9, from 10 a.m. to noon in the Dandelion Cottage room, located on the first floor off the Huron Mountain Gallery of the Peter White Public Library.

The Marquette City Commission will be participating in a tour of the streets and infrastructure in need of repairs on Wednesday, July 8, at 5:30 p.m. No official business of the City will be conducted during the tour.

The tour will be followed by a special Commission meeting, originally scheduled as a work session, in City Hall, Commission Chambers, at 6:30 p.m.
