Presque Isle Avenue to close temporarily on June 5

Beginning at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, June 5, Presque Isle Avenue, between Wright Street and Norwood Street, will be closed to through traffic for sanitary sewer work near the Wright Street intersection. The duration of this closure will be short, and plans are to have it open by 2 p.m. that same day.

The Presque Isle Avenue work will detour traffic to Fitch Street, Norwood Street, and Presque Isle Avenue. The public is advised to use caution when traveling through this area and to be alert for construction, detour and advisory signing.

Hebert Construction is the general contractor for this project.

The City of Marquette asks you for your patience during the construction process.
