The Compost site will be closed on Saturday, August 30 for Labor Day weekend and will reopen Tuesday, September 2, 3p.m.-7:00 p.m. ![]()

The Household Rubbish site will be closed on Monday, September 1 for Labor Day and will reopen on Wednesday, September 3, 3p.m.-7:00pm (or when capacity is met)![]()

Carts must be placed between the sidewalk and the curb. In areas without sidewalks or curbs, place them 2 to 4 feet from the edge of the roadway.
This Thursday 8/28 the E-Bike and Multi-Use Path Task Force will be holding a public input session at the Citizens Forum in Lakeview Arena at 5:30. The session will include a brief presentation from staff and a public comment period. If you are unable to come to the session, but would still like to give input, you can email clerk@marquettemi.gov or fill out the survey at marquettemi.gov/ebtf.
