The seasonal portion of Peter White Drive in Presque Isle Park will be closed to vehicular traffic on Thursday, September 1 from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for a Marquette Area Public Schools cross country meet. This represents one additional hour to the normal walking hours 7:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

Marquette City Manager Karen Kovacs will hold her next community office hours on Wednesday, November 13 from 10 a.m. to noon in the Shiras Room, on the top level of Peter White Public Library.
Last night Commissioners Gottlieb and Ottaway were sworn in following their election last Tuesday and the Commission unanimously voted to appoint Commissioner Hanley and Schloegel as the 2024-25 Mayor and Mayor ProTem team.
