NMU Homecoming Parade and Concert

Northern Michigan University will be holding their annual homecoming parade on Friday, September 20, starting at 5:30 p.m. The route will start in the NMU parking lot off Pine Street, head south on Pine Street to Fair Avenue, head west on Fair Avenue to Third Street, head south on Third Street to Hewitt Avenue, head east on Hewitt Avenue to Front Street, head north on Front Street to return to the start. The parade will be escorted by the Marquette City Police, and streets along the route will be closed to through traffic during the parade.
Pine Street will be closed between Lakeshore Boulevard and Fair Avenue from 3:00 p.m.
o 11:00 p.m. on Friday, September 20 for the Northern Michigan University Homecoming Concert. Motorists are advised to take caution when traveling through the area.
