Join the City of Marquette and the Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum on Saturday, January 4, from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.at the Marquette Commons, 112 S 3rd Street for Bright Beginnings, a joyful celebration to welcome the new year.
- Discover: Oscillation, an interactive public artwork that responds to your movements with colors and sounds. On display through January 5, 2025.
- Warm Up: Enjoy hot cocoa around community fire pits.
- Celebrate: Meet glowing surprise guests and share your hopes for the New Year.
- Experience: A spectacular, fire-fueled public art performance by the Lucid Fyre Bellators, from 6:30 – 7:00 p.m.
Glowsticks will be provided by UPCM, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own glow gear to help light up the night!
