Opening Reception for Public Gallery Program Exhibits

On Thursday, October 12, from 6-8 p.m. the Peter White Public Library and the City of Marquette Office of Arts and Culture will be hosting the opening reception for the three art galleries within the walls of PWPL.

The Deo Gallery is owned by the City of Marquette and is located in the lower level of the PWPL in the City’s Arts & Culture Center; it is supported by the Lake Superior Art Association. Light refreshments provided. Receptions are free and open to the public. Exhibits are accessible during regular Library hours. HMC and LL galleries will be on display through November 16, The Deo gallery will be on display through November 30.

EXHIBITS:

The Deo Gallery: Carol Phillips and David Schmitt, Inside/Out
Oil and Acrylic Paintings. Artist Talk at 7:00 p.m.

Huron Mountain Club Gallery (Main floor): Steven Leuthold, Artful Yoga

Oil Paintings. Artist Talk at 6:30 p.m.


Lower Level Lobby Gallery (Outside the Deo Gallery): Cade Musich, Keep. Me. Posted.
