The Winter Parking Ban will begin Wednesday, November 1, 2023 and will run through Monday, April 1, 2024. There is No Parking on any city street between the hours of 1:00 a.m. – 6:00 a.m. during this time period.
Vehicles owners not complying with the Winter Parking Ban are subject to a $75.00 fine under Marquette City Code Sec. 46-67(28). Vehicle owners could also be subject to having their vehicle towed if it is impeding snow removal efforts by the plow crews.
Vehicle owners are encouraged to make off-street parking arrangements for their vehicles for the winter as soon as possible. Cooperation by everyone will make it easier for the crews to do their job and make the roads safer for everyone.
