Eastbound lane closure on Pioneer Road at Altamont intersection

On Tuesday afternoon, November 18, 2025, the eastbound lane (southern side) of Pioneer Rd will be closed for construction activities at the natural gas access point just south of the Pioneer Rd and Altamont St intersection.  A temporary 3-way, timed traffic signal will be installed to direct traffic from both directions on Pioneer Rd and from Altamont St.  Both streets will remain open to traffic during the lane closure.

The eastbound lane of Pioneer Rd is expected to reopen by Wednesday November 26, 2025.

The public is advised to use caution when traveling through this area and to be alert for construction and advisory signing.
