Off-leash dog park remains closed

Due to recent snowfall delaying the completion of construction at the Tourist Park day use area, the off-leash dog park at Tourist Park Campground will remain closed until Wednesday, November 26. Additionally, the Power Mill Road entrance to the Tourist Park Campground (off of Sugarloaf Avenue) continues to be closed to all traffic, including vehicles, bicycles, and pedestrians.

This continued closure is necessary to protect both dogs and visitors from hazards associated with the construction.

To make up for the delayed opening, the off-leash dog park season will be extended through May 15, 2026.
