Call for Artists – Chair With A View, A Community Art Project

Lake Superior Art Association is seeking 24 local artists to design and paint an Adirondack chair as a part of Chair with a View, a community art project in conjunction with Art Week 2022.  Chairs will be installed during Art Week, June 20-25, along the City’s waterfront and displayed throughout the summer. All designs must reflect this year’s theme of water. Designs will be selected by a blind jury on both creativity and originality.  All artists must reside within Marquette County. Artists under the age of 18, must receive permission from a parent or guardian. Artists are required to submit an original design and brief description by March 18.
