City of Marquette Art Week - Opportunities for Artists

The City of Marquette is hosting Art Week 2022 on Monday June 20- Saturday June 25. Events will occur primarily along the lakeshore trail and in the shoreline public parks. The 2022 theme is WATER. There are several calls for community artwork and project proposals. A complete list of current opportunities is on MQTcompass.com under “Creative Classifieds”. Inspired by Water – Community-created artwork hosted at City Hall as a summer exhibit. Open to all ages, all mediums.

What Water Wants To BeOre Dock Brewing Co. is hosting What Water Wants to Be, a popup art exhibit and Wednesday night event – environmental inspired art, all mediums

DROP OFF ENTRIES BY JUNE 15 to the Marquette Arts and Culture Center

All artwork must be ready to hang

Fresh Coast Plein Air Festival – Pre-registration is now open for the fifth annual Fresh Coast Plein Air Painting Festival! Painters of all skill levels are invited to take part in this annual Festival, which invites artists to paint scenes and scenery that have been inspired by the Marquette landscape and residents in the outdoors. Pre-register online by June 23

Wednesday Art Market – DDA’s Farmers Market is hosting an Artisan market on Wednesday June 22. Sell your work! – Rolling applications at www.mqtfarmersmarket.com
