Annual High School Art Exhibit Reception Event

On Thursday, May 15, 6:00-8:00 p.m., the City of Marquette Office of Arts and Culture invites the community to an evening of celebrating our community’s young visual artists.

The Annual High School Art Show will be on display for the month of May in the Deo Gallery and will feature a large body of work created by art students enrolled in Negaunee, Marquette, Gwinn and Ishpeming High Schools.

The reception event will feature light refreshments and a presentation of awards at 7:00 p.m. Receptions are free and open to the public. Exhibits are accessible during regular Library hours and will be on display through the end of May.

The Deo Gallery is located in the lower level of the Peter White Public Library (217 N Front St) in the City’s Arts & Culture Center; it is supported by the Lake Superior Art Association.
