North Third Street will be closed to vehicular traffic between Arch Street and Kaye Avenue from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 18, 2025, for the Marquette DDA’s Music on Third Event. Signed detour routes will be provided around the closures.

Presque Isle Park will be closed to vehicular traffic effective immediately due to hazardous conditions from the impending winter storm. The island will reopen once Public Works crews have an opportunity to remove the snow and make it safe for visitors.

Due to mechanical issues caused by extreme cold, Waste Management was unable to complete Zone 1 recycling pickup today (Tuesday).![]()

Missed recycling will be collected on Wednesday and Thursday, in addition to regular routes.![]()

If your Tuesday collection was missed, please leave your recycling cart at the curb until it is collected. Crews will be working through Zone 1 over the next two days.![]()
