The City of Marquette offers Flexible Medical Spending Accounts and other voluntary benefits through a Section 125 Plan. Cafeteria plans, or plans governed by IRS Code Section 125, allow employers to help employees pay for expenses such as supplemental insurance with pre-tax dollars. The City offers the Section 125 Plan to all active full-time employees.
The City has worked together with our Section 125 Plan vendor, American Fidelity, to develop options for enrollment to be held in person and virtually.
Open enrollment week is May 10-14, 2021. A link will be provided the week prior to open enrollment to schedule a virtual visit.
Fire and Police employees do not need to schedule an appointment. A block of time has been reserved for your convenience in your department. If you cannot make one of the available dates, please contact HR to schedule an appointment at a different location.
