Park Cemetery Spring Item Removal

The City of Marquette is announcing that all Park Cemetery winter gravesite decorations must be removed before Monday, April 22, 2024.  After April 22, City crews will begin spring cleanup of the cemetery grounds and will dispose of such items left at gravesites.

Opening Reception for Public Gallery Program Exhibits

On Thursday April 11th 6:00-8:00pm, the Peter White Public Library and the City of Marquette Office of Arts and Culture will be hosting the opening receptions for the new exhibits in the Public Gallery Program. Light refreshments provided. Receptions are free and open to the public. Exhibits are accessible during regular Library hours.

Oil Paintings. Artist Talk at 7:00pm
(On display for the month of April)

Huron Mountain Club Gallery: Feeling It Out, MARESA students
Curated by Local Artist: Amber Dohrenwend
3D Cardboard. Artist Talk at 6:30pm
(On display through the end of May)

Receptions are generously made possible by Friends of PWPL. The Huron Mountain Club Gallery is located on the main level of PWPL. The Deo Gallery is located in the lower level of the PWPL in the City’s Arts & Culture Center; it is supported by the Lake Superior Art Association.
