Dec. 17 Harbor Advisory Committee Meeting Rescheduled: Participation Details

The City of Marquette Harbor Advisory Committee meeting scheduled for December 15 was cancelled due to lack of quorum.  The meeting is rescheduled for Thursday, December 17 at 5:15 PM.  This meeting will be held virtually with committee members and staff attending remotely through Zoom video conferencing.

Public Participation


There will be three options for public participation in this meeting: video conferencing, phone conferencing or written comment. There will be one public comment period during the meeting. Comments will be limited to three minutes and speakers must give their name and address. Written comments will be limited to 500 words.

Members of the public wishing to make a video comment will need to visit https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87656579214?pwd=UGtzMmRZNjNFamU2bDBMMXNoS3ZYQT09 on a computer or smart device that has a camera. Passcode: mqthac. 

Members of the public wishing to call in and make a comment over the phone will need to call 312-626-6799 and enter the meeting ID (876 5657 9214).

When participating via video or phone conferencing, you will be placed into a virtual lobby/on-hold until the Public Comment portions of the meetings are reached. Once Public Comment begins, the Chair will go through each person waiting in the lobby one at a time and provide them with the opportunity to address the committee. The video and phone conference lobby will open 10 minutes before the scheduled meeting start time.

Written comments can be submitted to Michael Anderson, Parks and Recreation Coordinator at mianderson@marquettemi.gov. Written submissions will be accepted until 4 p.m. on December 17, 2020.
