The City of Marquette Clerk’s office has now mailed absentee ballots for the November 8 election to registered voters who have submitted a request.
Registered voters can still begin the process of voting absentee in the following ways:
- Complete an application online at www.mi.gov/vote with a valid Michigan Driver’s License
- By phone or email: 906-228-0430 or clerk@marquettemi.gov
- In person at the Clerk’s Office at 300 W. Baraga Ave
Absentee ballot applications, absentee ballots, and voter registration forms may be returned by mail, or via one of the City’s three 24-hour secure election drop box locations:
- City Hall: 300 W. Baraga Ave
- Municipal Service Center: 1100 Wright Street
- Lakeview Arena: 401 E. Fair Ave
The City Clerk’s office is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and will incorporate extended office hours in the lead-up to the November election. Beginning in October and continuing through election day, the Clerk’s office will be open each Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Additionally, the office will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 5.
